The refurbishment project for the Maisonneuve College conducted by COHESIO aimed at improving its image and the attractiveness of its facilities, departments and equipment. It was divided into four parts: the redesign of the nursing science department, the creation of a medical school-clinic, the transformation of premises to add a computer lab, and the refurbishment of the main entrance.

In 2013, COHÉSIO Architecture carried out the densification and redesign of the nursing sciences department at Collège de Maisonneuve, transforming dark, poorly functional spaces into modern, high-performing learning environments. The project included the creation of new laboratories and clinical practice rooms, designed to faithfully reproduce the professional reality of nursing care, in full compliance with universal accessibility standards.
Particular attention was paid to the built-in cabinetry, custom-developed to accommodate specialized medical-educational equipment, as well as to hardware and fire safety systems, both essential in a complex institutional environment. The circulation logic and access points were entirely revised to ensure safe, durable use of the space.
Carried out in close collaboration with Collège de Maisonneuve, this project illustrates COHÉSIO's ability to design specialized learning environments that combine functionality, durability, and sensitivity to the existing institutional context.
