The Rio Tinto office project in Montréal was initiated to bring all teams together in a single location in order to foster connection and organizational efficiency. COHESIO Architecture translated the company's strategic vision into optimized and contemporary workspaces capable of accommodating 850 employees previously distributed across more than 275,000 sq.ft., within a unified environment of 190,000 sq.ft.
This redevelopment represents the culmination of several years of reflection, reprogramming and planning led by Rio Tinto and its property management team.
The project achieved LEED Platinum certification, reflecting the company's commitment to combining environmental performance with workplace quality. To this end, amenities such as a café-bar, phone booths and meeting rooms of various sizes complement the open workspace located at the heart of the Deloitte Tower.
At the forefront of design and technology, the offices developed by COHESIO Architecture in collaboration with GENSLER respond to the diverse needs of employees while providing the technical support required for their daily activities.
