Parisian Laundry art gallery

Located in the old industrial neighbourhood of Saint-Henri, the building of the current Parisian Laundry art gallery was once an old commercial laundromat of the same name. Following a period of abandonment, the idea to transform the premises into an art gallery emerged. COHESIO Architecture restored and transformed the old laundromat, while strictly ensuring that its historical and industrial character would be preserved.

This project was awarded the Heritage Preservation prize by the Montreal Architectural Heritage Operation, and the Orange Distinction award by the Let’s Save Montreal Preservation Society.
